Manas ram Yatra

In November 2021, spiritual luminary Morari Bapu did something no one had ever attempted. He turned Ram Katha into a moving pilgrimage, a chareveti katha, carrying Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas out of the tent and onto the very ground Lord Ram once walked. What began as a quiet thought on the Vyaspeeth in Ayodhya became a nine-day parikrama through Ayodhya, Tamsa, Shringverpur, Prayagraj, Valmiki Ashram, Chitrakoot, and Nandigram, tracing the first steps of the Lord's fourteen-year exile.

Three years later, the sankalp completed itself. In 2024, Bapu retraced the second and far greater half of that journey, from Chitrakoot through the forests of Dandakaranya, to Atri Muni Ashram, Agastya Muni Ashram, Panchavati, Shabari's ashram, Rishimukh and Pravarshana Parvat, across the length of India to Rameswaram, by chartered flight to Sri Lanka, and finally home to Ayodhya, retracing the Pushpak Viman's return.
